Corporate Team Days
A guided mountain bike group ride can be a fantastic way to build teamwork and camaraderie in the corporate workplace. Here are a few reasons why:
It’s a shared experience: Mountain biking is a challenging and exciting activity, and going on a group ride can create a shared experience that helps build bonds between team members. Everyone is working toward a common goal of completing the ride, which can create a sense of unity and teamwork.

It promotes communication: During a mountain bike ride, communication is key. Riders need to work together to navigate obstacles, make decisions about which trails to take, and ensure that everyone stays safe. This can help improve communication skills among team members, which can carry over to the workplace.
It’s a physical challenge: Mountain biking requires strength, endurance, and mental toughness. By completing a
challenging ride together, team members can build a sense of accomplishment and pride in their shared physical achievement. This can help boost morale and create a positive team culture.
It’s a break from the office: Getting out of the office and into nature can be a refreshing change of pace. A mountain bike ride can provide a much-needed break from the stresses of the workplace, which can help team members come back feeling refreshed and re-energized.

It’s inclusive: Mountain biking can be enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. This means that everyone on the team can participate in a group ride, regardless of their individual abilities. This inclusivity can help create a sense of belonging and acceptance among team members.

Overall, a guided mountain bike group ride can be a fun and effective way to build teamwork and morale in the corporate workplace. So why not grab your team, hit the trails, and see what kind of adventure awaits?
Our corporate days are normally run at One Planet Adventure – Llandgela. This place offers everything that is needed to have an enjoyable day, from a large choice of routes, bike hire to probably the best trail center café.
The morning is spent getting use to the bikes, this is done via playing a few bike orientated games, this builds confidence for each rider and is a good ice breaker for the group. This also enable the guide to assess the abilities of the group for preparation of the afternoon ride. Once the morning games are over and a small session in the skills center, it time for a well earnt rest in the café, to get the fuel in for the afternoon ride. This is where the challenge starts and the memories are made.
Llandegla has a full range of Mountain bikes, inc ebikes available to hire, and this can be organised through GuideMTB.
